Tour Itinerary

Best Time for Char Dham Yatra
Since the temples of Char Dham are located at high peaks, there is heavy snowfall during the winter months. That’s a reason the shrines close during winter. April-June and October/November are the best months to embark on Char Dham Yatra.
The exact timing (opening and closing dates) is decided by the Mandir Samiti on Maha Shivaratri. Avoiding yatra during monsoon months i.e. July and August is recommended as the region experiences landslides and rainfall during this period. The availability of helicopter Char Dham yatra depends on the weather and opening & closing dates.
